The other colours used such as burgundy imply the slightly less important stories, they still have significance in the newspaper. There are elements of gender politics 'can i forgive the man who raped me?' female empowerment and standing up to sexual harassment is a huge thing in the news lately and the use of this headline would appeal to women and possibly men who are against this and want change.As humans we are intrigued by failure and suffering in the world, using harsh headlines would draw readers in.
